Oil Eliminator™ above ground 20L–110L oil water separators provide both home owners and commercial kitchen operators with an efficient low cost solution to kitchen fat oil and grease (FOG) waste management.
When evaluating the performance and lifecycle costs of an oil water separator there are three major factors which must be considered. They are the design and performance of the separator, installation costs of the separator and on-going maintenance of the separator.
The Oil Eliminator grease removal unit (GRU) series are designed in accordance BS EN 1825 -2:2002 to comply with BS EN 1825-1:2004,
A112.14.3 CSA B481 and PDI-G101. This ensures performance, construction, oil retention and oil quality separation complies with local regulative authorities and building codes.
Compact in design the Oil Eliminator GRU series are specifically engineered for easy left or right handed retrofits to avoid expensive business interruptions and where it’s impossible to install a conventional in ground grease interceptor/arrestor. GRU’s are typically installed under dishwashing sinks and rotisserie ovens, eliminating the need for building owner consent for in ground excavation works.
Oil Eliminator enables the safe disposal of oil and food solids without the need to remove rancid manhole covers for pumping. It takes less than two minutes per day for restaurant staff to carry out routine maintenance and cleaning at the end of service. All units are constructed from 304 stainless steel without electrical mechanical parts which are prone to failure. Recovered oil is suitable for recycling along with fryer oils, unlike brown grease captured by conventional systems. Although GRU’s are more expensive, a return on investment can be realised in as little one year when reduced maintenance and pest control costs are taken into consideration.
